Beaucarnea (Beaucarnea Recurvata)

In a closed environment, Beaucarnea is a formidable devourer of VOCs (volatile organic compounds), ammonia, benzene and formaldehyde*. * Formaldehyde is a colorless, but not odorless gas. It is found in many common products from cosmetic adhesives to wood-derived products, in ink, tobacco smoke, insulating foam, building materials, household cleaners, paper, pesticides, resins, textiles, varnish, flooring adhesives, etc. Maintenance : does not require much water.
